Job Summary
Hire Resolve is seeking a Site Architect to join our client`s team in Pretoria, South Africa.
As a Site Architect, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction and ensuring that all architectural specifications and design principles are met on-site.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring program progress for all contracts.
- Creating and organizing statutory documents, Health Department submissions, Site Development Plans, and Building Plans.
- Drawing up detailed working drawings with other teams.
- Regularly communicating with Clients and Consultants.
- Facilitating communication between Contractors, Sub-contractors, and Suppliers according to contract terms and company policies.
- Monitoring Sub-contractor installations, progress, and quality.
- Attending site meetings and inspections to prevent project delays.
- Managing monthly site management meetings for each project.
- Handling time and cost claims.
- Inspecting sites and overseeing construction for the Architect.
- Keeping Senior Management informed about project updates.
- Working well as part of a team.
Requirements
- Master`s or Bachelor`s in Architecture obtained before 1998.
- Minimum 5-10 years of post-graduate experience.
- Registered with SACAP.
- Proficiency in Revit, preferably certified.
- Completed B+P Revit Assessment with at least 80% score.
- Advanced understanding of council documentation and submission processes.
- Advanced skills in technical detailing and construction documents.
- Advanced knowledge of site administration and project management.
- Strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Dedicated to delivering excellent client service through efficient and high-quality work.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Experienced in problem-solving and decision-making.
- Organizes workflow and resources effectively to meet commitments and deadlines.
- Builds effective relationships within project teams and with clients.
- Demonstrates loyalty and sets a positive example within the company.
