Job Summary

Required Qualifications / Experience: National Senior Certificate Previous experience in a similar field. A valid forklift licence would be an advantage. Functional knowledge of computer use is required. SAP scanning experience would be an advantage

Responsibilities:

Picking equipment as per picking list issued by the sales staff / branches. Packing equipment for shipping and completing the relevant shipping documents. Communicating effectively with all sales staff, including other branches, or head office, production staff and stock operating personnel. Checking stock quantities of all components handled by the finished goods staff. Handling the packing and storage of finished goods off the production line (where this is applicable). Stores personnel must be prepared to work overtime to process late/ urgent orders that require picking, packing and shipment on the same day. Stores personnel must keep their work area and stores neat and tidy. Maintaining accurate stock controls and ensuring that the physical and electronic stock levels are always in sync. Performing stock-take functions on a regular basis. Other general store duties
