Job Summary
A great mining company in Rustenburg, North West is seeking the expertise of a Senior Instrument Technician to join their team of professionals.
Responsibilities
- Minimize shutdown time by planning and controlling allocated tasks
- Participating in investigating and taking corrective actions in the event of instrument failures
- Ensure installation and maintenance of plant control systems
- Provide input to project coordinators
- Test and assemble experimental and operational instrumentation devices, pneumatics and electronic components
- Daily, weekly and monthly inspections
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering
- Instrument Mechanician Trade Test Certificate
- ECSA Registered
- 6 – 8 years experience in a plant mining environment
