Our focus is on building robust and sustainable relationships within the insurance industry. Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Executive / Business Broker/Appointment Booker to join our team. This individual will be responsible for cold calling insurance companies in the USA, identifying potential acquisition opportunities, and booking appointments for our director. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the insurance industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in business development or sales. Key Responsibilities Cold Calling: Proactively reach out to insurance companies in the USA to identify potential acquisition opportunities. Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential leads through research and initial contact. Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings and appointments for the director with key decision-makers in target companies. Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients to facilitate successful business transactions. Market Research: Conduct thorough research to understand market trends, identify potential targets, and gather relevant information on prospects. Reporting: Maintain detailed records of calls, leads, appointments, and follow-up activities. Provide regular reports on progress and outcomes to the director. Collaboration: Work closely with the director and other team members to ensure alignment of goals and strategies. Compliance: Ensure all interactions are conducted in compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Qualifications Education: Min grade 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the insurance industry. Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to build rapport and establish trust with potential clients Excellent organizational and time management skills Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant tools Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the insurance industry, including market dynamics and regulatory environment. Other: Ability to work remotely and manage time effectively. Familiarity with the US market and business culture is a plus. Key Competencies Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Results-Driven: Focus on achieving targets and driving business growth. Business Development Executive Cape Town, Remote R28 000 per month connectivity allowance of R1000 medical allowance of R1000 Commission UK`S leading end-to-end sales and marketing agency, which provides outsourced solutions to businesses globally seeks a Business Development Executive As a Business Development Executive, you will act as the liaison between our clients and their prospects and customers. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers through various channels, mainly by phone. Yes, you will be selling. Yes, you will need to make cold calls. And no, it`s not easy. But you`ll be valued, challenged, and rewarded and you`ll have fun in this fast-paced environment. To be successful in this role, it would help if you had previous experience developing leads from sales and marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from first contact until you close the deal / book the appointment. You will need to be motivated, resilient, results-driven, and enjoy working in a team. Ultimately, you will boost sales and contribute to both our business and our client`s long-term business growth. Responsibilities Qualify leads (primarily businesses) from marketing campaigns/data lists as sales opportunities Contact potential clients through cold calls, follow-up calls, emails, and LinkedIn Present varying products and services to potential clients Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services. Build long-term trusting relationships with clients Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and our clients Report to the Team Leader (weekly/monthly/quarterly) Effectively manage own time The above list is not an exhaustive list of duties and you may be expected to undertake other tasks when required, in line with business objectives. Your normal working hours will be 38.75 hours a week.
