How you`ll role
As a Commercial Property Manager you will be responsible for the overall results and performance of a mall development including leasing, marketing, promotion, facility management, talent relationship management, and customer service ensuring a first-class experience for tenants and customers. The position reports to the Executive Chairman and the board.
What you`ll do
- Ensure delivery of first-class management and maintenance service to tenants and recommends improvement where necessary
- Monitor financial issues of the property with full P/L responsibilities
- Formulate strategic planning and execution on people, finances, project flow, positioning, trade mix, brand mix, rental budgeting, and leasing
- Ongoing maintenance and relationship building with tenants including the resolution of rental disputes
- Proactively increase asset value of property by minimising vacancy rate, deploying attractive marketing techniques and promotional incentives to maximise leasing revenue and talent satisfaction
- Ensure up to date Standard of Procedures and systems across all mall functions to ensure smooth cooperation among various internal departments to facilitate business needs and deliver positive customer and tenant experiences
- Ensure facilities programs and practices are implemented and administered consistent with standards
- Develop plans that minimise incidents or reverse any negative trends
- Ensure the property is properly prepared for emergencies through leadership of the Emergency Preparedness Committee and the implementation of effective drills
- Lead efforts in managing all local crisis situations, including establishing a remediation plan consistent with company policies and procedures, engaging the right authorities and resources, and communicating plans
What you`ll need
- Minimum Qualification: University degree in business management, real estate, property management or related discipline
- A Masters` degree in a related field is an added advantage
- At least 10 years of work experience in retails, commercial and wholesales
- Strong working knowledge and understanding of financial plan, Sales & Marketing, Customer Relationship Management, and Operational Procedures
- Familiar with local commercial property market trends and have a good, extensive business network with tenants and property agencies
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and communication skills
- A strategic thinker with sound business acumen, result-oriented, self-motivated, confident, outgoing with initiative and able to work independently and under pressure
- Be able to work nights and weekends, as required
- Commitment to excellence and high standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
- Must be proficient in English (written and oral)
