Job Summary

LK Products offer locally produced, quality braai accessories, cookware, camping essentials and other household accessories to the South African market. Their innovative product range has offered practical and effective cooking, outdoor and domestic solutions since 1989. The company currently has an opportunity for an experienced Sales Agent to join the team as an independent contractor.

The successful candidate will report to the National Sales Manager and will be required to work independently with minimum supervision. The position is purely commission based and the agent will be permitted to service multiple clients, provided there is no conflict of interest. The successful candidate will have the full support of the sales office and receive the relevant catalogues and price lists as required.

Key responsibilities:

Attend to sales and realisation of sales targets for the following areas:

Benoni
Boksburg
Springs
Johannesburg
Meyerton
Secunda
Germiston
Roodepoort
Krugersdorp
Sandton

Effective and regular communication, administration and planning
Service of allocated customers (Relevant Weekly Call Cycle)
Marketing of LK products with support of the marketing team

Requirements:

Matric
At least 5 years sales experiences within a retail environment (non-negotiable)
A proven sales track record, showing ability to meet and exceed sales targets
Experience working with Pick n Pay, Spar, Mica, Build it, Buco and Obaro outlets will be beneficial
Own transport, laptop and cell phone
High level of emotional intelligence
Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
Self-driven and results-oriented
Computer literate

A market-related commission structure will be negotiated based on qualifications, skills and experience.
