Job Summary
Our established client in Greytown is currently seeking a Nursery Maintenance Manager to join their team. Overview: To ensure all vehicles and nursery equipment are maintained in optimal working order in a cost-effective manner.
Responsibilities:
Delivery Fleet Maintenance Perform minor day-to-day repairs Check tyre pressure and tread Conduct COF tests Farm Fleet Maintenance Handle minor and major day-to-day repairs Service tractors and general farm equipment Quad Bike Fleet Maintenance Perform major and minor day-to-day repairs Service quad bikes regularly General Farm Equipment Maintenance Maintain and repair nursery trollies, waist trailers, racking systems, dispatch equipment, forklifts, pumps and irrigation systems Service and repair seeding equipment Building Maintenance Maintain farm buildings including lighting, painting, roofs, windows, doors, plumbing and security Attend to daily maintenance requests Additional Responsibilities Fabricate nursery equipment Manage construction projects Oversee workshop and stock management
Requirements:
Grade 12 Proficiency in English and Zulu preferred At least 2 years` experience in mechanical, electrical, plumbing and vehicle maintenance Welding skills Experience with pumps
