We are looking for a passionate OT engineer to strengthen the OT team within Technical Services. Does your heart beat faster with Operational Technology (OT), OT networks, cyber security, maintaining and optimizing factory automation and are you an involved and enthusiastic OT technician then the OT engineer position might be for you. We are looking for someone with the following characteristics:

HBO work and thinking level;
Extensive experience (at least 3 years) in a similar position within industrial automation or similar. Preferably gained in the food industry or pharmacy;
Demonstrable OT knowledge in the field of:
Network systems (Profinet/-bus, hosting, firewall configuration);
Complex instrumentation;
Factory automation (GE/ProLeiT&Siemens/Foxboro/SQL);
Cyber security.
Knowledge of automation in the areas of: Server and PC systems (VMware, Microsoft Windows environment) and Industrial Networking;
Knowledge of Industrial Automation ISA-95 level 1, 2 & 3;
Knowledge of ITIL Processes (for OT);
Customer and result oriented, analytical, collaborative, creative and accurate;
Social and communication strong and you have a keen awareness of safety and quality.

Some other duties belonging to the position are:

Responsible for the effectiveness, improving and ensuring the automated business processes, including ensuring the right long-term vision in the field of automation;
Troubleshooting and analysis in case of complex problems / failures in the hardware and software of the automation (such as client / server / hosting / network / PLC / SCADA / HMI / MES);
Being and staying abreast of new technologies in the field of automation;
Both internally and externally central point of contact for and advising in the field of automation;
You apply lifecycle management to the OT asset register;
You are responsible for software change management and keeping changes and modifications up-to-date (change control);
You are jointly responsible for the implementation of our ITIL procedures;

Another important part of your role is optimizing our cyber security. Nowadays an increasingly important part
