Job Summary
Create and facilitate the delivery of the Machine Learning roadmap for the company“s key AI focus areas. Work hand-in-hand with a team of dedicated machine learning engineers, aiming to deliver projects reliably against projected roadmap timelines. Drive adoption and integration of machine learning project outputs from your machine learning team by other internal non-machine learning software engineering teams. Own and drive agile events like Sprint Grooming and Sprint Planning to facilitate project breakdown and effective sprint prioritisation towards timely execution. Contribute to and challenge technical design decisions for relevant projects. Ensure consistency of design patterns across your product portfolio. Balance longer-term product vision and goals with short-term wins. Take accountability for the overall delivery of each project committed to the roadmap. Ensure relevant stakeholders for specific vertical(s)/roadmap(s) are correctly identified and consulted. Work closely with relevant business units to identify opportunities for driving meaningful business results through machine learning solutions and then work with stakeholders to prioritise projects for roadmap inclusion. Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify key business needs, market trends, and opportunities to inform product strategy and prioritisation. Determine what data needs to be gathered to inform decision-making around product requirements. Gather and use quantitative and qualitative data to help formulate product requirements. Suggest ideas to solve stakeholder challenges and validate them with metrics in close collaboration with stakeholders. Define and report the success metrics of each project on your roadmap against business goals. Attributes Required: This is a broad portfolio, which requires a candidate with a broad range of skills and experiences. Ability to distill technical subjects to their fundamental concepts, to facilitate the effective exchange of ideas between business stakeholders and software development teams. Strong commercial acumen for understanding the factors driving business success in a fast-paced e-commerce environment Be comfortable with data deep-diving, individually and collaboratively, to generate product-level insights. Being proactive in exploring your problem space and surroundings, in support of the product vision and roadmap of your teams. Collaborate with engineering teams to reduce uncertainty and set actionable deliverables. Has a drive to actively unlearn and relearn mental models for as long as there is supporting data
