Job Summary
Requirements:
- Matric or post-matric qualification.
- 2-3 years experience in a manufacturing environment (food/consumer goods/packaging).
- 2-3 years` experience with supervising a team.
- Experience with BRC/FSSC 22000/ISO22000.
- Experience with Internal Auditing.
- Intermediate/advanced Microsoft Office skills.
Responsibilities:
- Willingness to work night shift and overtime where necessary.
- Communicate well with diverse groups in the organization.
- Utilize problem-solving skills, creativity, and critical thinking.
- Adaptable and willing to learn.
- Inspect in-process, and final products for conformance to COC/COA, ALC standards, and customer specifications, by using precision measuring instruments, inspection plans, and devices.
- Capturing, reporting, investigating and control of supplier, in-process, and non-conforming products and waste.
- Ensure on-time release of in-process and final products to stores, production and relevant stakeholders.
- Responsible for product/environmental and microbiological sampling and the interpretation of results.
- Monitoring Data Collector performance and attendance and identify development, where necessary.
- Provide support and guidance to team members to ensure they perform their duties effectively.
- Support Production Supervisors and Team Leaders with investigation and decision making on waste, reworks, and quality related improvements.
- Escalate reoccurring deficiencies on instruments and devices or need for repairs to Supervisor.
- Compiling and filing of documentations related to product inspection and test results.
- Compiling and storing of final product COC/COA documents.
- Conduct weekly and/or monthly verification of testing equipment.
- Conduct weekly and/or monthly GMP inspections to the standard of the ALC Management System, and on any process, you have been assigned to and trained.
- Conduct monthly stock takes of non-conforming product.
