Job Summary
Candidate requirements; Tertiary education in Tourism/Travel is essential. Must have a passion for conservation, the safari industry, and travel. Previous experience in reservations and the travel industry is essential. A minimum of two years experience in a safari supporting role is essential. Experience working in a safari lodge is advantageous. Working experience using WETU, Tourplan or Hubspot is beneficial. Must be computer literate and proficient in using Microsoft Office. Personal travel experience in southern Africa is ideal. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Truly supporting safari consultants and finance team in planning, selling, booking, and managing experience-rich, responsible safaris. Liaising with suppliers and properties, booking client flights etc. Liaising directly with travel clients to arrange invoicing, travel documentation, and booking extras such as restaurant reservations and added tours. Assisting our product manager in creating new travel packages and marketing content. This position offers flexible working and is 100% remote. Salary highly dependant on experience.
