Job Summary

Africa is calling all Engineers! A reputable firm is urgently seeking the expertise of a Senior Superintendent – Smelter Infrastructure & Flotation to join their team in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (2-year contract in DRC).

Responsibilities:

Manage the project area scope, quality, budget, and schedule from concept to commissioning of the hand-over
Manage and oversee consultants, suppliers, and contractors
Establish and manage designs
Deliver effective problem solving and continuous improvement
Drive relationships with stakeholders
Manage the project budget
Integrate the HSEQ into all work processes
Establish and drive reporting best practice for the area of responsibility

Requirements:

You must have proven project experience
Hold an Engineering Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering
Proven Smelter experience
Experience in projects in DRC
Project Management
10-15 years of project management experience and 5 years of experience with civil works
