Job Summary

English-speaking Commercial Gr.12; MS Word/Excel/Mix Telematics/ DRM/ Roadshow; 3-5 years food ind exp in fleet utilisation/fuel usage/ consumption/planning loads cost-effectively/managing a team of 40+ /administration/prepare/present daily/monthly distribution reports/RCA/action plans/with a food/FMCG distributor or outsourced FMCG transporters. Keep accurate record of Drivers licences & PDPs/ensure that planned Driver training/key task assessment takes place/ constant communication with Drivers and weighbridge staff/briefing and debriefing of Drivers. Support monitoring of daily/weekly/monthly deadlines/ensure trucks leave site on time/that tracking is done on own and outsourced vehicles/coordinate & manage tracker/control system/ report late/non-deliveries/monitor vehicles kilometres & Service Plans with suppliers/ensure vehicle inspections/repair arrangements/manage & ensure extended life of trucks. Work with electronic reports from outside suppliers/recon diesel usage and calculations/manage E-toll & Bankfin recons/manage traffic fines & recover costs from responsible parties/request purchase orders for dept./track & control budget vs actual expenses/report all issues timeously to Distribution Mngr.
