Job Summary
Description:
Hire Resolve`s client is currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Specialist to join their mining company in Limpopo. As a Mechanical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of mechanical equipment in the mining operations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance activities on mechanical equipment in the mining operations.
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans and schedules.
- Collaborate with other maintenance teams to address interdisciplinary issues and optimize equipment performance.
- Provide technical support and guidance to operational staff regarding mechanical equipment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and replacements.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with company and industry regulations.
- Stay updated with industry developments and technological advancements in mechanical equipment.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- N4 Certificate in Engineering Studies.
- Trade Test Certificate (Mechanical/Electrical)
- Supervisory Certificate
- 5 years` experience as a Maintenance Specialist/Supervisor.
- Extensive experience on plant equipment (Cone Crushers, Jaw Crushers, Ball Mills, Conveyors, Screens, Compressors, etc.)
