ACCOUNTANT VACANCY ALERT!
ACCOUNTANT (STELLENBOSCH)
Key Performance Areas
- Process all accounting transactions in Xero
- Prepare and submit SARS Bi-Annual and Annual PAYE reconciliations
- Assist and/or attend to SARS audits (VAT, EMP, Income tax, Provisional Tax)
- Update income tax and deferred tax computations
- Ensure all accounting records are maintained in accordance with IFRS standards
- Assist with budget preparation
- Prepare monthly management accounts
- Month-end accounting function (allocations, provisions, accruals, reconciliations, revaluation of forex balances etc.)
- Preparation of month end and year end files
- Bank Recons
- Financial records
- Report to Senior Accountant

Minimum Requirements / Qualifications:
- Accounting degree and CIMA / SAIPA qualified
- 3 years commercial accounting experience
- Computer skills XERO (working knowledge)
- MS Excel / Google sheets (Advanced Excel skills advantage)
- Excellent working knowledge of IFRS
- Analytical with excellent communication skills
