Advantage criteria would include as a Management Couple-
He could be qualified as a Nature Guide and be qualified as an NQF 2 or lead guide, which is the ideal qualification. Experience in maintenance and construction, building and project management will be advantageous.
She could also be a Nature Guide but must have experience in general lodge administration, Food, Beverage, Hosting, and Housekeeping. Qualifications as a chef will be an ideal extra advantage.
The primary / main duties and responsibilities of the position will include:
- Transfers of guests between OR Tambo/Pretoria/Johannesburg
- Maintenance and general game management of 250 Ha Game Fram
- Managing & running the day-to-day duties and responsibilities of the lodge (The successful candidate would need to manage 4 staff members, check on the guests to make sure they are happy, and interact with them.
- Doing basic game drives and nature walks with kids and families at the Game Farm and on the Big 5 Game Reserve.
- The successful candidate will be needed for two-week assignments to assist at the sister property
The package offered is as follows:
Live-in. Accommodation: Provided in managers (semi-furnished with basic crockery if needed). Laundry, housekeeping and WIFI included.
Meals: A food allowance while on duty is offered in addition to the salary.
Typical annual leave is 3 weeks or 21 days per annum. The typical work week is Monday through Saturday morning.
