Job Summary
A great mining company in Welkom, Free State is seeking the expertise of an Underground Engineer to join their team of professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and assess level of issue-based risk exposures in area of responsibility by considering exposures to business, financial, legal issues, people, equipment, material, environment, processes
- Perform planned job observations
- Document and review the maintenance strategy on an annual basis to ensure that it is aligned with the business plan
- Ensure strict adherence to the relevant engineering standards and specifications
- Investigate & communicate Commercial Exceptions
- Follow up warranty claims on component failures on high criticality equipment.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Degree / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- GCC Mines and Works
- 10 15 years experience in an underground mining environment
