Job Summary
Description:
Hire Resolve`s client is actively seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Learning and Development Specialist to join their mining team in the Western Cape. As a Learning and Development Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating learning and development programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of employees.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements.
- Designing and developing engaging and interactive training programs, including e-learning, instructor-led training, and blended learning solutions.
- Coordinating and delivering training sessions, workshops, and other learning events.
- Managing training logistics, including scheduling, venue arrangement, and participant communications.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of training programs through various methods, such as surveys, assessments, and feedback.
- Collaborating with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure training content is accurate, relevant, and up-to-date.
- Researching and implementing best practices in learning and development.
- Maintaining training records and preparing reports on training activities and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Degree/Diploma in HR
- Diploma in ODETDP
- Technical Qualification (Trade/Mining/Engineering)
- 8 years` experience within the mining industry.
- Assessor and Moderator Certificate
- Experience in Learning Management Systems
