Job Summary
Description:
Hire Resolve`s client is currently seeking a dedicated Safety Officer to join their mining team based in the Northern Cape.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits
- Create and deliver safety training programs
- Investigate accidents and near misses and create reports
- Identify and mitigate potential hazards and risks
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- COMSOC 1&2 OR SAMTRAC
- Diploma/Degree in safety management.
- 5 years` experience as a Safety Officer within the mining industry.
- Knowledge in Mine Health & Safety Act.
- Knowledge of safety regulations & procedures, risk management, safety training and inspections.
- Valid driver`s license
