Job Summary
QUALIFICATIONS: – Microsoft Office, especially with Good Excel Skills – Exceptional General Maintenance experience (5 years) – Project Management Essential – MS Office (Excel & Stock system) Essential – Valid RSA ID is required – Valid Drivers License EXPERIENCE: – Candidate must have strong Leadership, Administration, Project Management and General Building Maintenance within the hospitality industry – experience of at least 5 to 10 years. – Attention to Detail – Reliability and adaptability KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: – General Maintenance and repairs to all buildings. – Upkeep repairs of all public areas. – General maintenance on Electrical, plumbing, appliance and tool and equipment. – Plan, propose, manage all projects as and when required including collaboration with projects with outside contractors. – Ensure quality control of a maintenance and projects. Prepare, submit annual and ad hoc budgets for operations and projects. – Negotiate favourable wholesale prices with suppliers. – Fleet Management of company vehicles – Ensure effective staff management within the guidelines of the company policies and legislative requirements. – Exceptional report writing skill. FRONT OFFICE-To ensure check-in procedures are strictly adhered to.-To be readily available at all times to address guest complaints.-To organise, lead, manage the front office team to their best capabilities. -To ensure maximum unit occupancy within agreed booking policy.
