Job Summary
Hire Resolve is excited to announce an opportunity for a skilled and experienced Fitter Foreman to join our client`s dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment.
- Supervise a team of fitters and allocate tasks accordingly.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company standards and regulations.
- Inspect and test machines and equipment to diagnose issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including maintenance logs and repair reports.
- Train and mentor junior fitters, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and minimal downtime.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety among the team.
Requirements
- Grade 12 or N3 Certificate.
- Proven experience as a Fitter Foreman or in a similar role.
- Trade qualification as a Fitter or in a related field.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment and systems.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Valid driver`s license.
