Job Title: Foreman Electrical – Mining Industry – Limpopo
Location: Limpopo, South Africa
Job Type: Full-time
Hire Resolve`s client is looking for a dedicated and experienced Foreman Electrical to join our mining team in Limpopo, South Africa. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the electrical operations at our mining site and ensuring that all electrical systems are functioning efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise pre-start checks to ensure operational readiness.
- Uphold and enforce safety protocols and work methods.
- Conduct planned task observations and maintain meticulous records.
- Perform periodic over-inspections to uphold robust engineering standards.
- Strategize and coordinate labor, spare parts, maintenance, and emergency repairs.
- Provide oversight and guidance to both in-house labor and contracted personnel.
- Efficiently manage inventory of spare parts and equipment.
- Administer safety systems to guarantee a secure work environment.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and legal regulations and industry standards.
- Minimize unforeseen downtime and outages through proactive measures.
- Develop and execute preventative maintenance strategies.
- Compile and manage budgets to optimize resource allocation.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- N3 Certificate
- Electrical Trade Test Certificate
- 5 years of experience as a Chargehand in an underground mining environment
- Supervisor Training Certificate
