Job Summary
Fast-growing medium-sized accounting and tax firm in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town is looking to employ an Accountant to compile Annual Financial Statements.
The firm is looking for a candidate with experience in a firm environment that is comfortable drafting financial statements in Draftworx or Caseware. An accounting degree, certificate or diploma, along with SAIPA/SAICA articles is preferred, however, if the candidate has an adequate amount of experience and skill level in compilations, they will also be considered based on this experience.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-level accounting duties.
- Preparing accounting work relating to compilations of annual financial statements.
- Preparation and Review of financial statements in Draftworx.
- Compilations of Annual Financial Statements on Draftworx.
- Ad hoc accounting and tax work
- Client interaction and relations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree, Certificate, or Diploma in Accounting or similar.
- Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles advantageous.
- AGA(SA), PA(SA) or other professional qualifications a plus.
- Experience with Draftworx.
- Minimum 2 years experience drafting AFS.
Remuneration:
- R240,000 to R300,000 pa ctc, negotiable on experience.
