Job Summary
Sagen Advisory Recruitment Company have great opportunities available to start your career in finance with a training contract at a reputable firm in Bellville. The well-established and reputable Assurance and Accounting firm in the northern suburbs of Cape Town is seeking to employ CIMA Trainee Accountants. They have offices in the Northern Suburbs, Winelands, Swartland and Tshwane.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
- Produce client reports.
- Perform accounting work.
- Administrative duties.
- Full bookkeeping and accounting function up to trial balance, including debtors, creditors, bank, petty cash, journals, etc.
- Handling of VAT and PAYE reviews.
- Invoicing and debtors collection.
- IRP5 calculations, reconciliations and submissions.
- Liaison with clients.
- Maintenance of SARS accounts.
- PAYE/UIF/SDL calculations and EMP201 submissions.
- Registration and deregistration for Income Tax, PAYE, VAT and Import and Export licenses.
- Tax clearance applications.
- UIF registration and administration.
- VAT calculations and VAT201 submissions.
- WCA registrations, submission of returns and arranging letters of good standing.
Qualifications and experience:
- BAccounting, BCom Accounting, BCom Management Accounting, BCom Financial Accounting, or equivalent.
- Computer literacy.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Drivers license and own transport.
Remuneration:
- Market related.
