Requirements:

Grade 12 qualification A minimum of 5 years of related procurement experience including purchasing, and/or planning Work experience in a Petroleum/Production environment beneficial Good communication skills (verbal and written) Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Ability to work well under pressure Ability to multitask and deadline driven Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Responsibilities:

Plan and purchase local stock using in-house systems (HEAT & Odoo) Forecasting likely levels of demand for related stock Ensure purchase oder system parameters are maintained by monitoring minimum, maximum, safety and current inventory levels; making recommendations to management for adjustments to levels Process requisitions and place orders with suppliers based on all areas of procurement on business needs with extra focus on HVAC/Refrigeration Process and generate orders as required and maintain supporting documentation Ensure the receipting of stock by stores Ensure that required costings are received from suppliers, check pricing and lead times and obtain the necessary approvals Follow up on all purchase order`s status Keep the purchase order system updated with any supplier pricing and/or lead time changes Sourcing new suppliers, negotiate pricing and payment terms
