Sagen Advisory Recruitment company is recruiting a dynamic and motivated Entry-Level Facilities and Asset Manager to join our renowned Property Management clients growing team, based in the Westlake area of Cape Town.
In this role, you will work closely with senior management to support the day-to-day operations of our facilities while gaining exposure to asset management practices. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who would like to develop themselves in business, administration, property/facilities/asset management, finance, and related field to kickstart their career in an integrated company.
Responsibilities:
- Facility Operations Support:
– Assist in overseeing the daily operations of our facilities, ensuring a safe and functional environment.
– Coordinate with maintenance and support staff to address facility-related issues promptly.
- Asset Management Exposure:
– Collaborate with the finance team to learn and apply asset management principles.
– Support the tracking and documentation of asset performance metrics.
- Financial Support:
– Assist in budgeting and financial management activities related to facility operations and asset portfolios.
– Participate in financial analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Communication and Collaboration:
– Engage in regular communication with internal teams and external vendors.
– Support cross-functional collaboration to ensure smooth operations.
- Analysis and Reporting:
– Conduct basic analyses of facility and asset performance.
– Contribute to the preparation of reports summarizing key operational and financial metrics.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Work experience in the related fields will be a bonus but is not a requirement, training will be provided.
- Basic knowledge of facility or asset management practices is a bonus; however, training will be provided.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Computer literate.
- Valid driver`s license.
- Own transport.
Remuneration: Market related.
