Job Summary

Hire Resolve`s client is looking for a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join their company in the Western Cape. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the international logistics industry, with a focus on the fast-moving consumer goods sector.

Responsibilities:

• Business Development Acquire new business with a focus on Medium, Large, Mutinational and Global accounts
• Manage and report on the client`s profitability, revenue, and YOY numbers
• Primary role is to prospect, develop, and manage new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and identifying potential new business
• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless delivery of services and customer satisfaction
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify market opportunities and threats
• Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and promote our services
• Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations and proposals to prospective clients

Requirements:

• Bachelor`s degree in Business, Logistics, International Business, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 to 10 years Sales Experience, preferably in the 3/4 PL and/or Freight Forwarding Industry
• Proven track record in Freight Forwarding, Clearing, Contract Logistics and/or 3/4 PL
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
• Strong understanding of supply chain management and logistics processes
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
