Job Summary
My client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to join their finance team based in Cape Town. The ideal individual will have a solid foundation in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, coupled with excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization. You will work alongside intelligent and engaging colleagues in an inspiring company passionate about travel. You will be someone who strives for financial excellence, continuously learning and growing with the ability to take calculated risks to remain result driven.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and maintenance of the company`s financial models, forecasts, and budgets Analyse financial performance, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and key performance indicator (KPI) tracking Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and other stakeholders Support strategic planning initiatives by providing financial insights and recommendations Partner with the senior leadership team to understand their financial needs and provide support in budgeting and forecasting processes Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support decision-making and identify areas for improvement Assist in the preparation of presentations for senior management and board meetings Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting Stay current on industry trends and best practices in financial planning and analysis
Requirements:
Bachelor`s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a corporate environment Advanced skills with MS Excel or Google Sheets and financial modelling Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial reporting and analysis Please note if you have not heard from us in 2 weeks from application, please consider yourself unsuccessful – please do continue to follow us online and apply for suitable roles.
