Job Summary
Leading Destination Management Company is looking for a Destination and MICE Specialist to successfully quote profitable itineraries, manage and execute all meetings, incentives and events for existing as well as new clients.Experience required:MatricRelevant tertiary qualifications (advantageous)Min of 3-4 years of Destination Management Company Experience.Experience with inbound MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events) ESSENTIALDuties include:Secure business and effectively cost productsUnderstand the market and margin controlBuild up and maintain agent/supplier relationshipsQuote and design successful, creative itineraries and proposals for all market-related MICE and Cruise Ship requestsCapture and confirm bookings in TourplanNegotiate with suppliersSuccessfully manage MICE / Cruise Ship bookingsThe hiring of additional staff for eventsOnsite management of actual events including meet & greet, check-in, function management, conference coordination, transport facilitation, etc.Travel nationally / regionally if requiredHandling the 24-hour emergency phone.To apply please send CV to Executive Placings
