Job Title: Intermediate-Senior Test Analyst – 8 month contract-Hybrid – SA citizens only
Location: Western Cape, City of Cape Town, Cape Town
Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours

Job
Duties:
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases
- Identify, document, and track software defects to resolution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Participate in test planning, estimation, and prioritisation activities
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the testing process
Required Qualifications:
- Relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- ISTQB certification or equivalent
- Proven experience in software testing
Education:
Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Experience:
- Minimum of 4-7 years in a test analyst role
- Experience with manual testing
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practises
- Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., Jira, HP ALM, Confluence, Xray)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced certifications in software testing
- Experience with performance and security testing
Working Conditions:
- This is a hybrid role
- SA citizens only
