Job Summary
Position: Junior Full Stack Developer
Location: Cape Town, Western Cape (Hybrid)

Job Function: We are seeking a talented Junior Frontend/Full Stack Developer to join our clients development team. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about web development, has a solid understanding of React.js, and is eager to grow their skills in a collaborative environment. The team accommodates hybrid work, provided you have a reliable internet connection.
Key Performance Areas:
- Work closely with our development team to create user-friendly interfaces using React.js.
- Collaborate with designers to implement UI/UX designs into code.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Assist in troubleshooting and debugging issues.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Perform additional related tasks as assigned by the manager.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Bachelors degree (or equivalent work experience) in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of frontend experience (preferably with React.js).
- Familiarity with responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile or Kanban.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with React.js and its core principles.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
- Basic knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Salary:
- R 20 000.00 R 25 000.00 CTC per month
