Position overview:
Together with our client, a logistics company we are recruiting for a results-driven and customer focused Road Freight Sales Representative based in Goodwood, Cape Town to contribute to the growth and success of the business. The ideal candidate must have 4 – 5 years of sales/marketing experience in the road freight/logistics industry, a proven track record in sales, communication skills and a good understanding of the logistics industry.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Client acquisition:
Identify and target potential clients in the designated sales territory
Develop and execute effective sales strategies to acquire new business
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients
Relationship management:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
Collaborate with clients to understand their logistics needs and propose customised solutions
Growing existing business and cross-selling with existing clients
Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
Sales presentations and proposals:
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients
Create detailed proposals outlining services, pricing and value propositions
Qualifications:
Level 4 equivalent to standard 10 / grade 12 (non-negotiable)
4 – 5 years of sales/marketing experience in road freight/logistics
Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in the logistics or transport industry
Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Goal-oriented and self-motivated with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Proficient in Microsoft office
Salary:
+/- R 30 000.00 CTC per month
