Job Summary
Position:
Pharmacist Assistant Interventionist
Position Purpose:
Reporting to the Interventionist Supervisor within Aid for Aids. The role incorporates the evaluation of chronic medicine applications (new & updates) and the implementation of Aid for AIDS clinical guidelines for Medical Schemes and Corporate Clients.
Experience:
Two to three (2-3) years experience in HIV/AIDS Disease Management or Managed Care
Call centre experience is an added advantage
Qualifications:
Post basic pharmacist assistant registered with the relevant health professions council

Operating Model:
-Accurately assess medicine benefit forms and process according to clinical guidelines
-Assess pharmaceutical updates according to procedure and intervene where applicable
-Correctly maintain and update patient profiles
-Ensure treatment plans are technically accurate and communicated with patients and doctors
