Job Summary
Job Title: Production Foreman
Location: Cape Town
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Foreman to join our client`s team in Cape Town. The Production Foreman will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating our production operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety.
Responsibilities:
– Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet customer demand and deadlines
– Oversee and supervise production workers, ensuring that they adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
– Monitor production processes and identify areas for improvement to increase efficiency and productivity
– Train and mentor production staff to ensure proper understanding of job duties and expectations
– Ensure that all equipment and machinery are in proper working condition, and coordinate maintenance and repairs as needed
– Collaborate with other departments, such as quality control and logistics, to resolve any issues that may arise during production processes
– Keep accurate records of production activities, including inventory levels, production output, and employee performance
– Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and productive work environment
Requirements:
– Proven experience as a Production Foreman or similar role in a manufacturing environment
– Strong leadership and communication skills
– Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
– Excellent problem-solving abilities
– Knowledge of production processes and equipment
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
– High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in production management or a related field is a plus
