Job Summary
Senior Card Management and Transaction Switching Systems Engineer
As a Senior Card Management and Transaction Switching Systems Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing end-to-end solutions for card management and transaction switching systems. Collaborating closely with both business and IT stakeholders, you will define system requirements and business goals to ensure that solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant with industry standards. Additionally, you will lead and mentor a team of developers and engineers to drive innovation and excellence.
Experience:
- At least 5 years` relevant end-to-end design and development experience
- Proven experience with enterprise architecture frameworks and business process modeling
- Strong understanding of network architecture and security protocols
- Experience in cloud computing environments, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) and DevOps practices
- 3-5 years` experience with proven knowledge of and experience with Card Management Systems
- Proficiency with Amazon Web Services
- Linux Server
- Card Management/Transaction Switching Systems
- SQL Server/Postgres/Oracle
- C#/Java
- Familiarity with containerization technologies
- A thorough understanding of PCI DSS and ISO8583
Qualifications (Minimum):
- Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred):
- A relevant qualification in Information Technology
Knowledge: Minimum:
- Detailed knowledge of:
- System architecture (technical design and implementation processes)
- Systems analysis and design
- UML or equivalent modeling language
- Technical Test Plan Design
- IT systems development processes
- Application development
- Standards and governance
Ideal:
- Detailed knowledge of:
- Banking systems
- Agile development life cycle
- Knowledge of UML
