If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you Position Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled Fund Accountant to join our thriving team. As a pivotal member of our accounting department, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our hedge funds and investment portfolios. Your expertise in Excel, particularly in Macros and VBA, will be instrumental in enhancing our financial processes and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our operations. Key Responsibilities : Fund Accounting : Manage the full cycle of fund accounting for hedge funds and investment portfolios, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Excel Expertise : Utilize advanced Excel skills, including Macros and VBA, to streamline data analysis, automate tasks, and improve financial models. Reconciliation : Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly reconciliations of fund accounts, ensuring all discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly. Reporting : Prepare detailed financial statements, investor reports, and regulatory filings in compliance with industry standards and regulations. Collaboration : Work closely with portfolio managers, analysts, and other stakeholders to support investment decisions and provide financial insights. Process Improvement : Continuously evaluate and enhance accounting processes, implementing best practices and innovative solutions to drive efficiency. Qualifications : Education : Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience : Minimum of 4 years of experience in fund accounting, preferably within the hedge fund industry. Technical Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, Macros, and VBA. Experience with accounting software and ERP systems is a plus. Attention to Detail : Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and reconciliations. Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely. Team Player : Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
