Job Summary
A restaurant situated in Cape Town City Centre is seeking an experienced kitchen manager to join & lead its team in the back of house section of the restaurant.This person will be responsible for the following:- Conduct daily and weekly stock take as well as entering of relevant information onto PILOT POS- Manage, train and develop staff in the kitchen department- Maintenance of kitchen hygiene and frequent cleaning schedules- Ensure that all Head Office prescribed recipes are adhered to- Coordinate the pass and ensure food quality is of the highest levels- Manage staff roster and discipline- Source suppliers and place weekly orders in accordance with restaurant PAR levelsThe ideal candidate should have at least 3-5 years kitchen management experience and PILOT POS system knowledge would be beneficial.
