Job Summary
Job Title: Graduate Mechanical Engineer
Location: Durban, South Africa
We are seeking a motivated and ambitious graduate mechanical engineer to join our client`s team in Durban. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and gain valuable experience in the field of mechanical engineering.
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior engineers in designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components
- Perform analyses and calculations to ensure the safety and efficiency of mechanical designs
- Collaborate with other engineers and team members to solve engineering problems and meet project deadlines
- Participate in project meetings and provide input on project planning and execution
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in mechanical engineering
- Complete projects, studies and simulations to support technical operations team
Qualifications:
- BEng/BSc in mechanical engineering or a related field
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices
- Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Exposure to maintenance operations or manufacturing environment
