Job Summary
Our established client based in Durban is seeking an experienced Senior Foreman for a 15-month bulk pipe project.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily site operations, ensuring safety and efficiency
- Co-ordinate with project managers and engineers to meet milestones
- Supervise foremen, laborers and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Conduct site inspections and quality control checks
- Manage resources, including materials and equipment
- Resolve on-site issues promptly
- Maintain accurate project records
- Communicate project status to stakeholders
Requirements:
- 10+ years in construction
- 5+ years in a supervisory role
- Experience with bulk pipe projects
- Strong leadership, problem-solving and communication skills
- Knowledge of construction processes, equipment and OSHA regulations
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Valid drivers license
