Job Summary
Minimum Requirements Matric B.Com Accounting Honours (essential) Qualified CA (SA) with a minimum 8 years post articles experience In-depth knowledge of IFRS tax and transfer pricing Commercially astute with strong general business analysis skills (Minimum 5 years commercial experience) Demonstrated track record of generating business value through delivery of improvement projects and business reviews Demonstrated track record in best-practice costing e.g., assessment of base costs, development/assessment of bills of material Industry experience in the following sectors: Manufacturing (Plant operations), FMCG and Mining Excellent leadership skills with Syspro ERP experience (essential) Develop and implement the finance strategies & plans in support of global & regional business strategy & objectives Develop and deploy financial frameworks & simple measures for tracking business performance and for alignment of employee rewards Pro-actively contribute to the improvement of the business, group profitability & cash flow Establish and maintain a satisfactory control framework, through the application of professional and corporate governance standards Produces regional management and financial statutory reporting requirements Prepares all indirect tax requirements (VAT, land tax, payroll tax etc), excluding Withholding Tax. Supports Corporate Group Tax with tax disputes and obligations. Performs investment and contract approval evaluations for the region
