Responsibilities
Provide adequate workshop store facility and stock levels for efficient maintenance and productivity
Supervise and maintain control of the workshops, stores and maintenance activities
Direct, assist, supervise and guide artisans with daily maintenance and construction activities
Meet regularly with employees, analyze and solve problems, maintain a healthy service to other departments
Ensure proper preventative planned and opportune maintenance is done on machinery and equipment
Requirements
Grade 12
N4 Certificate in Mechanical Engineering
Mechanical Trade Test Certificate
10 – 15 Years experience in an underground winder mining environment
