Job Summary
INTRODUCTIONA well-established company in Bryanston, Gauteng is looking to employ a Senior Power Electronics Engineer.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSRelevant Tertiary Qualification (BSc, BEng Preferred)At least 7 years hands-on experience in power electronics.Experience in High-Speed DC Breakers (Rail, Mining and Solar)Must be able to provide high level design as well as detailed design calculations for client-specific applications.Must have the ability to pro-actively engage in sales and pursuing new clients.Must be able to manage a technical team.Excellent interpersonal skills.Should have knowledge of DC Breaker market in South Africa and preferably broader Africa. RESPONSIBILITES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:Managing a technical team in refurbishing/repairing and fault-finding of High Speed DC Breakers.Attending to providing client-specific solutions.Quoting/tendering for new supply of High Speed DC Breakers and/or related services.Maintaining client relationships.Pursuit of new clients.Applying quality measures to ensure ISO9001 standard compliance.
