Job Summary

Please Note: This position requires an individual who is a qualified IE to issue COC for Single Phase Solar Installations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. This position requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, solar technology and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to their clients. Key

Responsibilities:

Perform solar panel installations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and electrical codes. Issue Certificates of Compliance (COCs) for completed installations. Work on both single-phase and three-phase electrical systems. Troubleshoot and repair solar PV systems, including inverters, charge controllers and batteries. Collaborate with engineering and project teams to complete installations on time and within budget. Provide technical expertise and support to team members and clients regarding solar energy systems. Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance and repairs. Conduct quality inspections and maintain accurate installation records.

Requirements:

Electrician Trade Test. Valid wireman`s license and must be registered as an Installation Electrician (IE) Must be able to issue Certificates of Compliance (COCs) Working experience as a Solar Installation Electrician or similar role. Ability to read and interpret electrical and architectural drawings. Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Physical stamina and ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions. Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
