Key
Responsibilities:
- Study drawings and specifications to determine material, method, and sequence of operations.
- Assemble fabricated metal parts and sub-assemblies to produce machines and equipment.
- Check fabricated and assembled metal parts for accuracy and fit using precision measuring instruments.
- Set up and operate machining tools and presses, ensuring prescribed cutting and shaping tools are in place.
- Shape metal stock and castings with precision using machining tools.
- Cut, thread, bend, and install hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and lines.
- Diagnose faults, perform operational maintenance, and repair machines and mechanical parts.
- May be involved in on-site machine and equipment erection.
This role requires the ability to concentrate for extended periods, work with precision, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this position.
