Employer Description A leading Short-Term Insurance Brokerage with head office in Johannesburg Northern Suburbs. Job Description Job Purpose: To ensure the delivery of customer service excellence, within the ambit of the FSB Regulations and Underwriting Guidelines, the effective and efficient execution of processes and to build and maintain relationships with key external and internal stakeholders namely Clients, Insurers, and other divisions within the company Will report to: Underwriting Manager Key Performance Areas : Underwriting and Administration of the Commercial clients of this Large Brokerage and the Joint venture partners portfolios, reporting to the Underwriting manager. Key Clients: External Clients (Policy Holders). Internal Management and Directors, Broker Partners and Other departments Outcomes: Underwriting and administration of new business. Renewals within agreed timelines. Confirmations, Notification of interest, Amendments, Cancellations, Corrective Action, General. Qualifications Matric, FAIS Compliant (Short Term Insurance Qualifications at NQF Level 4). Successfully passed RE, and currently a registered representative Skills Effective Time Management, Computer literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power point) Email and Telephone Etiquette. Minimum 5 years relevant work experience in the short-term insurance industry preferably commercial underwriting. Results oriented. Commitment. Customer Driven. Continuous Learning. Assertiveness. Honesty and Integrity and Ethical Behavior. Adaptable to change. Ability to use initiative / be proactive. Team player. Goal oriented. Time management Communication skills. High Attention to detail.
