Job Summary
Cape Town – Western Cape ~ Johannesburg – Gauteng
- Proficiency, in Azure DevOps: The ideal candidate should possess an understanding of Azure DevOps encompassing both its aspects and functional capabilities.
- Strong Technical Skills: It is important for the candidate to have expertise in areas, including CI/CD pipelines, Version Control systems like Git, automation techniques.
- Knowledge of Azure Cloud Services; Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud services is necessary since Azure DevOps often integrates with these resources.
- Project Management Experience: The candidate should have experience working with Project Management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum or Kanban. This will enable them to plan, execute and monitor Development projects.
- Problem Solving Aptitude; The ability to quickly troubleshoot issues and devise solutions which is crucial for minimizing disruptions in Development workflows.
- Communication and Collaboration Skills: Strong communication skills are necessary for interaction with the Conclusion Enablement stakeholders involved in the Development process including Developers, Product Managers, etc.
- Continuous Improvement Mindset: A commitment to improvement is essential along with an inclination towards optimizing processes, collaboration with other apps and workflows within Azure DevOps.
- Security Awareness: An understanding of Security practices to ensure that Development processes align, with Security requirements.
- Documentation Skills: The ability to document processes effectively completes the skill set required for this role.
- Backlog Management.
- Sprint Planning.
- Own reliable transport required.
- PowerShell.
- Python.
- ARM templates.
- Optional are the scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python as well as infrastructure as code using ARM templates.
- A service-oriented mindset.
- Understands the importance of documentation.
- Attention to detail, but also has good memory recall.
- Open to learn, but also willing to teach.
