How you`ll role
As a Paraplanner, you will prepare and maintain client files, implement recommendations, and review compliance paperwork. This includes compiling paperwork for financial needs analysis, drafting statements, and identifying planning opportunities. You will research solutions, collaborate with advisors, manage portfolios, and organise meetings. Being self-driven, detail oriented, and seeking new business opportunities are key.
What you`ll do
- Prepare and maintain client files
- Prepare and implement recommendations
- Ensure all compliance paperwork is in order
- Identify areas for planning
- Undertake research to identify suitable solutions to meet clients needs
- Liaise with Financial Advisors
- Prepare draft recommendations
- Make changes to clients portfolios as required
- Organise future planning meetings with clients
- Review investment portfolios, asset allocations, risk profiles etc.
- Send planning figures to clients for updates and revisions in preparation for meetings
- Initiate review meetings with clients
What you`ll need
- You will need to possess knowledge and an understanding of the long term risk and investment products
- The ability to communicate with clients, write effectively, and manage & resolve customer queries
- Be a self-starter personality and would be able to manage themselves
- High attention to detail
- Be able to correspond with clients and do quotes
- Ability to service clients in terms of queries, keeping customers up to date and new business
- Ability to change beneficiaries and an understanding of switch forms
- An RE5 qualification would be preferable
- An ability to seek new business opportunities from an existing client base
