Job Summary
Are you a passionate leader with a deep understanding of internal auditing? We are a dynamic South African retailer seeking a Chief Internal Auditor to join our team! As a leader in the industry, we are looking for someone to manage our international internal audit function and ensure effective risk management, governance, and control processes. Qualified CA (SA) and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA). 10-12 years of experience in a similar role. 10 years of experience leading teams. Proficiency in international accounting standards. Evaluate governance processes, including ethics, and perform objective assessments of risk management and internal control frameworks. Systematically analyse and evaluate business processes and their associated controls. Provide an annual statement on the effectiveness of the company`s governance, risk management, and control processes. Ensure the annual allocation of internal audit resources is based on approved risk-based audit plans. Review audit plans against the company`s risk profile and propose adaptions to the audit committee for approval. Ensure compliance with the King recommendations.
