Job Summary
Our client has an opportunity available for a Drawing Office Manager.
Requirements:
- Diploma or tertiary qualification as a Draughtsperson.
- 6+ years of relevant experience in the boiler, structural and high-pressure piping design and construction environment.
- 3D scanning, registration, modelling and simulation.
- Advanced experience in software associated with CAD, 3D scanning, 3D modelling. 3D simulations and 2D fabrication drawings within the boiler generation industry.
- Proficient in Autodesk complete suite of design tools, Cadworx, Inventor, Navisworks, NX, Scene or similar software.
Responsibilities:
- Training & Development from a personal objective point of view and to ensure team growth and capability to be in line with latest technological trends.
- Quality and Accuracy of draughting and modelling.
- People Management and leadership to maintain team capability, capacity and growth/recruitment as per business requirements.
- Supporting the General Manager for Engineering in achieving the company strategy.
- Project Management to ensure drawing output performance meets the project objectives.
- Manhour estimation and structuring of the draughting portion of projects in support to the engineer`s requirements.
- Internal and External Customer Relationship Management.
