Job Summary
Hire Resolves client in the mining industry is urgently seeking the expertise of an Environmental Officer in Gauteng.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying environmental incidents, conducting investigations and assisting with the environmental impact assessments
- Conducting the sampling and interpretation of environmental monitoring data
- Conducting environmental awareness training
- Performing site inspections and audits
- Environmental engagement with relevant stakeholders
- Knowledge in ISO14001, mine closure, rehabilitation and biodiversity management will be advantageous
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Diploma or Degree in Environmental Science
- ISO 14001 and Auditing Certificate
- 3-5 years of experience in the mining industry
